Dressing up babies...
« on: December 01, 2006, 06:45:20 PM »
Ok, I couldn't find the thread Stella started on my New Baby, so I had to make a new one.  Unfortunately Flower doesn't condone dressing up dogs for fun, but this little tee was the CUTEST!!!
:D Weee

For a second I initially thought this was gonna be an Anne Geddes tribute thread or something. {lol}

keep in mind, those are Canuck dollars so you're probably looking at maybe only 80% of the listed prices.

Come on PB...their fur just doesn't cut it anymore!!   ;D

These little dogs are so adorable!! I would be so afraid that I would step on them, or squish them.

This is more my style.  As soon as Milania gets big enough...we are going to take some photos similar to this with Chris Cook's mastiffs.  Its the cutest thing I have ever seen.

Tasha, Flower made a thread w/a story on the X for that Mastiff and baby sequence awhile back.  It was hilarious...I'll try to find it.

I found the pics on the site www.gentlegiantsrescue.c om

Bob and I are planning on rescuing a giant in about a year, once the baby gets a little older.  If it were up to me...we would have had one a long time ago.  I think they are the most beautiful dogs!

How do you get your dogs to sit there while you dress them up?  And how do you get them to lay in the bed covered up like humans?  Are they sleeping and you are just really precise??

wow flower.... i've just spent the last 4 hours reading horror stories about this place.  i am now going to see exactly what has been done with their establishment.  i have a friend that works in the LA news and broadcasting.  She happens to be a huge dog lover and a rescuer herself.  I'm sure she would bury these people if they are still doing this!!  This is ridiculous!

I understand these poor peoples stories of losing thousands of dollars but still not returning the dogs due to the horrible conditions.  And these crazy "rescuers" just take the money and run!!

Bob just spent months looking for the 1960's batman series...and found it.  i'm watching "robin" in disgust!!

Adorable pic flower!!

We are only about 90 miles from this place....I am so interested in going and seeing what they are about.  I hate that they are getting positive exposure on Animal Planet and other broadcasts for the simple reason that its "Robin's" business.  Its not fair to the alleged 80+ animals they have on their property.  There are sooooo many great rescue shelters here in SoCal...these people are taking their spotlight due to a bit of stardom from the 60's.  Thats just how it works here in LA!!

I'm going to do the research on the web, and the court records....I'll see whats been going on with them lately.

I'll pm you with any juicy details...
