How many people walk into a convieniece store, and see some overweight kids with several candybars, a chips "not low fat" and a big gulp that is bigger than their heads?

How about going to Whole Foods Market and seeing an Obese Mother buying her fat kids some "healthy organic" pizza?

The topper offer is a Double Whopper with Cheese, Super Size them Fry's, and "A DIET COKE".

I have spent many of my younger years trying to gain weight, I was a skinny little fucker. And I thank God my parents didn't leave garbage in the house.

Now, it may be their problem now, but in 20 years, whats gonna happen to our military, and all the people on disabilty from obesity related hypertension and cancers. We will have to pay for it, Lost Work..

This is a serious issue for our times. They are taking Gym Classes out of schools, and making lunches lower quality as well.

The funny thing, the only person really pushing to get Gym back in the class is guess who?

It is an american Problem. Your style of life favours those kind of behaviours. It is the utmost consumption society. In a few years your population will be weak and ill, aggressive marketing and big companies are todays "mind beacons" that control almost everyone's atittude towards consumption. It is also noticeable in pollution, your are the most poluent country in the world. You should really start to worry about this...

You mean that guys that go to over 300lbs and then compete at 245lbs with stick arms and legs yet still have a 40inch waste and like to where robot costumes for their posing routines.

some of us are dude. We havn't had an environmental movement here in the US since the early 80's, Reagan and the conservatives squashed it. (except for Animal rights, they didn't see it coming ) But it's sort of starting again. People are becoming green again. Thank God. But I am sure the companies are working on ways to belittle the groundling movement. What gets me mad is the younger generation, Generation Obesity, they are so sold out it is scary. They will buy any product from a big company without even questioning it. They wear big business icons on their body day in and day out. They are clueless. They don't protest anything. What is the point of being young if you except everything that is said and sold to you. Discuss youngins.

more the average bodybuilder that seems to use bodybuilding as an excuse to eat a lot of food and wearing clothes looks like any other fatso out there

The only people to blame for this are the idiot parents. They feed their kids ding dongs, mcdonald's, burger king, chocolate, chips, donuts and other crap. Kids are spoiled...and very fat and unhealthy.

the problem with 90% of american girls,, is that they hold so much muscle naturally that the fat they gain on it is enourmous if they dont stay active in the gym forever and eat whatever they want,,,even if they are in the gym it doesnt always help them.

it is true that the more muscle you have the better you will burn fat,,but in the typical amerian girl case,,i would aim at losing both muscle mass and fat at all cost and before they get pregnant!. pay attention how many girls in usa are 118 at age 24 before their first kid,,,,you meet them 15 years later,,,they are 210,,ask yourself why,,the answer is they were never skinny and small,,not even at 120

Working as an nutritional adviser, I get them all the time. The last one was a mother trying to get her 11year old to loose weight. The kid weight in at 224. The first week he lost 1 lb. and the mother was ecstatic, but the kid could care less. The next week the kid gained 3 lbs.

I knew he wasn't following the diet, but as I told his Mother, I don't live with him. All I can do is give you the tools to get his weight down. The rest is up to you. That's the problem. The parents care and don't keep junk food in the house, but when the kids at school or out with his friends, they must be eating shit. If he followed the diet and it's a good one for kids. They get plenty of good food, but when they don't care, what can you do?

It's a shame, but I told the mother what the kids needs most is exercise. Todays kids get nothing compaired to when I was young. On a Sat. we would get on our bikes and go for miles and miles. Nobody sat at home playing video games. Today the kids idea of exercise is to rake some leaves then back to the video. Major problem and I have no answer. When type 2 diabetes rears it's ugly head then maby he'll want to loose weight and I hope it's not too late.

This is already a major problem only getting worse.
