Who wins and loses these "competitions" really has nothing to do with it.

The best physique onstage doesn't always win. How many times have we witnessed a show where a guy looks phenomenal but doesn't even get a second look because he hasn't  paid his dues or isn't a name guy? If the guy with the best build always won, why does shit like this happen all the time?

Then you have a guy like Phil Heath whose first two pro wins were almost pre-ordained because of name value. The system is bullshit.
