how did he get so fat so fast after retirement?

why should he care how he looks.  He had one of the best physiques of all time he has made his point.


and if you watch the trailer for the new season of the fit show is is in pretty damn good shape now.  Still looks better than the average Joe.

Sorry guys, Shawn has gone slim and trim. I last saw him on October 1, right after the Olympia. The guy is a pro and decided the time was right to hit the treadmill. So from the time of the Arnold 2006 to the O, there was a new Shawn Ray.

Its been  5 years since I last stepped on a BBing Stage. :-\
Life is good, in that time:
I got married
Began work for a New Company that Rocks
Became a father of a now 16 month old baby girl
Moved into a new house
Promoted my First Pro Am Classic
Promoted the 2nd Annual Charity Golf Fundraiser for CHOC
Did a Body transformation which ended Thanksgiving Weekend for VYO Tech
Have a New DVD coming out this 2007
A Fit Show Internet program coming early Jan.
Got news the weekend of the Nationals that I will be a Father again this coming July 13th! :o

You can say, at the moment, I am enjoying the pains of Pregnancy Cravings and hence, will not be dieting nor doing the treadmill until after the New year like everyone else. ;D

Shawn isnt fat - in just a few short months he slimmed down - and I am impressed... however.... check out these special protein strawberries that just came out - awesome..  They are good for you and the chocolate is fat free and protein based.

Bodybuilding is a lifestyle, and to see someone who did so well in competitions abandon that lifestyle altogether upon retirement is disheartening.

I think it's a bit out of order to call Shawn fat - the guy can do what he likes now he's retired - we all know he could get back into the top ten of the Olympia if he wanted to, but he doesn't. He's got nothing left to prove - he's earned that good life now with the wife and kid, nice home etc. Fair play to ya Shawn - I'd do the exact same thing in your shoes.

Geezus... After years of training for the Olympia, etc. WHY NOT get fat after retirement. Years of chicken breast and rice for burgers and fries? Sounds good to me!
