Jimmy Carter was perhaps our most intelligent President. He was clearly the most decent person to hold the office in our lifetimes. He was ineffective though. Perhaps proof positive that being a good person and running our country with the current political system in place can't work.
No offense there Mr. I but you don't have 1/5th of Carter's intellectual capabilities. Calling him an delutional idiot is out of line, have some respect for a great man.
I agree with you, he was very ineffective and I was out of line when I said he was delusional and I don't anyone of us have the intelligence he has, but I don't agree with at all with his position on Israel and he does sound anti-Semitic when he speak about it.
But saying what I said, I seen an interview with Carter about a week ago where people called in, this one lady called in and started blasting him, calling him names, yelling, etc and I saw the look on his face go from smiling to looking like he was about to cry, I can't remember the last time I felt as bad for someone I didn't know getting insulted the way did....it was awful!!
