Johnny looks great... not as heavy as I've seen him in other offseason shots.

I would not want to go pay to see some pro pose out of shape.

For him being a powerlifter, I am really not impressed with his leg size.

I hate it when pros guest pose looking fat. That really cheats the audience who came to only see them. I went to a local show where Darrem Charles posed and he was ripped. Who's gonna pay to see Ronnie or Jay at 330? Waste of time. If i was the promoter or whoever, I wouldn't pay him.

I guess not all the pro can look as good as you.
just push some weight!

actually if Darrem didn't stay in shape in the off season he might look not so worn down at the end of the year. And maybe just maybe he might win a few more shows.

Pegasus. Darrem wasn't that ripped and dry but good enough to give a good show. His abs were there. Maybe he was 8% fat. Compared to his 3% or whatever on stage that's not so extreme. and Darrem is very worn out because he competes a lot. Not like the guys who do 2 shows a year.

Yes, Darrem is the king of the 10K shows. God bless him him for earning a living.

Ronnie and others have said it best..you can only peak once per year.

Very poor offseason conditioning.  Very dissappointing.  Some people paid money to see a fat, monster gyno'd pig.  Thank you Johnnie.  Not a fan.

Johnny said he is considering doing the Colorado Pro show in June and "hoped to be in better shape" the next time he was in Colorado.

If the guy doesn't have calves, he just does not have a complete physique.  That should be a prerequisite for being Mr. O.  Baby calves on a jacked body just look terrible.

He doesn't have forearms either.  At least not a set that are comparable to his upper arms.

Come on, people, it's called OFFSEASON. You wanna see him in contest shape, go to a contest. Offseason is when he grows, recovers, makes changes to his physique, etc... I think that's exciting and worth seeing in its own right.

This is a paid appearance.  He is not in good condition.
Offseason....holding some fat in the offseason is fine, but BBers should never be fat.  Who wants to look good only 2-3 months out of the year around contest time?  Is that what BBing has come to?  No reason we can't stay inside 10-12% BF offseason, more than that does not help adding mass, its just more to loose come contest time.

Johnny actually filled in for another Pro who could not make it.
I guess when you get the ENTIRE Story, rush to judgement changes abit huh?
In this buisness it happens that when some guy sfill in for others they maybe caught off guard and not prepared but due to their Sponsors, they say jump and we have to jump.
Having Johnny was better than not having anyone. :-\
At last check Shoot, you would not have done it if they paid you a Million bucks! :-*
Peace,
