« on: December 13, 2006, 02:43:09 PM »
Has anyone tried it? Thoughts? More of a MRP than protein powder:

CAL: 150
FAT: 2g
PROT: 22g*
CARB: 14g
FIBER: 7g

*Protein is derived from whey, milk and rice,

The label lists "maltodextrin fiber," "rice starch" and "rice bran" among other ingredients.

Wouldn't they be complex from the oatmeal.

I just use a cup of reg old fashioned oats with 1 cup water, 6 packs of splenda, a dash of cinnamon and 2 scoops of protein.  (1 scoop Muscle Milk, 1 scoop of whey) and a little coffee if it's to dry.  Allot cheaper than the "protein oatmeal" and probably a better nutritional profile too.  Just mix it in a plastic, covered bowl before leaving the house and add a cup of water before 2.5 min in the microwave.
