Ed Van Amsterdam
« on: December 14, 2006, 03:51:46 AM »
I have been personaly with some bbers, like Dorian, Shawn Ray and Levrone, but the guy that most impressed me was Eduard Van Amsterdam. He is not better than the others I've mentioned but is huge.
http://forum.dutchbodybuilding.com/f42/eduard-amsterdam-141-kg-308-lbs-recente-89615/
Heres a pic of him with 141 kg bw. Last time I saw him he was 152kg  :o in his best conditioning.

I don't get it, he looks to have average pro size. Why do people keep saying he's massive. Maybe I need to see him compared to other guys.

Well, that's because he's 7 feet tall.

There is no definition in either one of his biceps.  Is there already a foreign substance in them?

I've seen him in person, and believe me, he's big.

However, his arms could be better...

13th Place - Eduard Van Amsterdam

The biggest competitor onstage was the rugged Eduard Van Amsterdam. I had seen photos of Eduard in the magazines before but I didn't realize he was such a big man. The leg development on Eduard was super thick and massive, especially his monstrous calves. Despite his hulking size, Van Amsterdam displays an affable presence onstage and his playful posing routine in which he pretended to bounce an invisible basketball in between poses was very well-received the by the audience.

Ed is working with Milos Sarcev and is aiming to be bigger than before. I see and speak to him twice a weak, he trains at the same gym as I do.
He is getting dried, and the last time I spoke him he was 140 kilo`s.
He really is a nice guy and talks with everybody that speaks with him.
Muscletime will be making a movie about him preparing for the upcoming contest. They shoot in Graz also, in the gym where Arnold S. started training and they will shoot his training in Amsterdam soon.
Probably I will be in that shoot too, briefly.
Yes he is a lot bigger when you see him in person in stead of pictures, don`t forget that he is 6`1,5 and weighs 315 pounds.
