steak and chicken cooked with it doesn't come out well.  Doesn't cook evenly and comes becauese you need to cook it well enough on the inside.

i just cooked a steak on it, and it sucked.

try leaving the steak out of the fridge for 45 minutes before cooking it

the colder it is when you start the worse the steak will be

also remember steak is meant to be pink on the inside...some people are really picky about this and are afraid of pink meat, but that way it retains the most juice and flavor

you can also try cooking it open faced and flipping it so its not that rapid insta-cook that the foreman does that can kinda F up a lof of meats besides burgers.

this works with chicken as well
its comin today

i cook everything on it, steak, chicken, burgers, the key is to let it warm up first for 5 minutes, the new ones have the timer on it, that way the meat doesn't have to be on for long to ccok it, my staeks always come out the way i like them, rare to medium rare and as long as your chicken isn't still pink on the inside it's done, a big time key to keeping it in good working order is to wash it every time you use it.

O.K Here is the Deal:  From my friend who is a cook at Paris Las Vegas

The reason the grill does not cook good to taste is because it only heats to max 450 degrees.
When you sear meat, you draw the sugars from the inside of the meat to the surface.
Cant do this with the G foreman grill.  Only good for heating turkey and swiss sandwiches.

Next time you cook chicken breast of steak or fish.
Teflon pan with a little bit of olive oil "1-2tbsp" and heat it up on high till it smokes
Gently drop in the chicken breast lightly salted and peppered, or steak or fish
after about 2 minutes turn down to medium and if it is brown turn over, if not leave on till it is brown
then turn over and cover.
Make sure heat is on medium and leave in for 3 or more minutes to cook through
Practice makes perfect.

I sometimes heat my oven to 500 degrees at the start,
for thick meat, you can transfer the meat to a tray "or leave in pan if pan can handle 450degree heat.  No rubber or plastic"
and leave in for 5-10 minutes if you slice the chicken breast thinner berfore cooking you won't have to.
Most are all show no go!

I was watching Clerks 2 tonight... they had fry-able eggs in a tube.  you'd slice of maybe 1/2 inch and fry it.  Looked with really good, or really disgusting.

Does such a product exist?
