I just got back from seeing Rocky Balboa, I would have liked to see a more inspirational training scene and a little bit longer training - but other than that I think it was awesome! It starts off pretty slow and wishy washy, but his one liners are great and the fight is awesome, I think it was a perfect way for him to go out, it's alot like the fight in Rocky 1 - no chance to win the fight but he goes the distance and and is still on his feet when the final bell rings!

Sorry if I just ruined it for anyone!!

Definitely!  I enjoyed this movie immensely.  Quite likely Stallone's best performance, and Burt Young was hilarious.

         that was hilarious, i never heard that one before. i was never a huge Sly fan. although i did enjoy the Rocky series. did he write all those lines? i thought it was very well written andhe did a great job acting. the training scene did need to be longer, whats up with that?

i think it starts filming this Spring.  i hope he continues to play older characters now, like what Clint Eastwood did with Unforgiven and In the Line of Fire.

I thought I was the only one; I know among my friends I am, at least.  I loved that movie, but IV will always be at the top for me.  I grew up on that movie.  One of my very early inspirations to start working out...

  give it a chance, supposedly he is making the new Rambo a much grittier version. its going to be a lot more violent and brutal, also it wont have as much of the machine gun/ rocket launcher appeal like the last few. according to his interview last month on moviehole.com.
