They are not impossible poundages actually. Improbable yes, but he was training for strength. Blunt force trauma baby, he rocked Mason Dixons ancestors with those punches.

there ain't a chance in hell that a 180lb. 60 year old was using that type of weight, did you see how fake the clean and jerk looked, he was literally holding the bar off his chest in the top of the clean.

The weights were fake. The fight was fake. Stallone's hair is fake. The girls tits are fake. The butter on the popcorn in the theater where you watched the film is fake.

actually they had Tarver on the radio this morning talking about the movie. He stated that they went for realism and that Sly asked Tarver to really hit him in some of the fight scenes.
