You know…this really is a fascinating subject because it deals with one of men’s greatest hidden fears or “closet cover-ups” from their fellow men. In other words, that they have any desire (at all) to even be temporarily dominated by a woman. Sort of like the fear of publicly admitting that you have “latent homosexual tendencies” to your buddies.

Particularly, young men (usually the more ignorant and insecure ones!) who are trying to constantly prove their manhood in public, i.e. always trying to act macho and tough, and who would never dare admit that they would ever desire to “submit” to a girl/woman being dominant/superior to them in any area of life.

In addition, these “gotta constantly prove their manhood and display their ‘tough guy’ image” immature types are always ready to attack any other man, usually verbally (sometimes physically), by calling him/them names like fag, schmoe, pussy, pervert, or whatever, if they display any trait which these young, ignorant, “tough” guys think is “unmanly”…and this includes even hinting that they would like to even temporarily “let go” from the tiresome “always dominant tough guy” image! What immature, ignorant, insecure, behavior!

Having practiced and instructed in the martial-arts for some 40+ years and constantly having to deal with these young, “I’m bad news”, “pseudo tough guy”, types in the dojo as both students and training partners, it has been a constantly annoying, tiresome, never-ending, pain-in-the-ass over the years!

Clearly, BDSM is a very profitable underground business and there are many dominatrixes who make well into 6 figures and have male clients who are captains of industry, politicians, military veterans of combat zones, MMA fighters, strongmen, bodybuilders, respectable and responsible fathers, etc., etc.. In other words, there is no question about the “manliness” of such BDSM clients!

These men are usually older, well educated, more intelligent, experienced, men who are both financially and emotionally secure…who “have heterosexually been there and done that” and have the curiosity and courage to sexually experiment by temporarily giving up dominant control to a young and beautiful woman.

I am an accountant and twenty years ago I had two clients who ran very sucessful brothels.

I remember one visit when to discuss business we met in the "dungeon" and I distinctly remember the chairs. They werre about the size used for kindergarten.

I think schmoe is a needlessly derogatory term used for men who appreciate females with muscles. Are some guys over-zealous and a little strange-yes, but most people refer to any guys who like muscular females as schmoes...it isn't really fair. A guy can buy a Playboy or watch porns and he is "normal" but god forbid he likes a girl with some biceps and quads...then he is a schmoe?

Sure I have bumped into some of these "schmoes." One man I met couldn't even look me in the eye when we were introduced he just stared at my biceps the whole time. Was it strange-a little- but kindof the same thing as the ass who stares at my boobs (ok maybe not mine because they are small but you get the picture).

I just feel bad using the term schmoe because I know that many men who like females with muscle hate the word. Yes some accept it (Tre for instance) but I suppose maybe I dislike it because I know so many of the guys that would be considered "schmoes" and I don't think it is a true assessment of them.

BEAST, I do appreciate muscle on females, but I don't like to be called "schmoe", I am my own person, belong to no group or whatever. Don't care if someone find that strange. I, like it.

Most people who appreciate muscles on a female, to any degree, are just normal people. And a few of the "appreciaters" could be a bit strange like that bicep staring fellow you have met. He could just have a normal conversation with you and eventually make a nice comment on your pleasing physique.

For decades, the pioneers of physical culture DEFINED the term "bodybuilder" as ANYONE who used either free-weights and/or machines (usually progessive resisitance exercises) to improve their appearance, strength, and health.

Then, in the 80's-90's, Joe Weider (with his heavy commericalized slant) used the term "bodybuilder" to refer ONLY to those weight-trained individuals who competed in bodybuilding contests.

Similarily, the term "schmoe" originally is supposed to be defined as any man (usually an older one) who pays a FBBer to perform BDSM-related activities with/for him.

However, on the Getbig forums a "schmoe" is incorrectly "defined" as any male who is a fan of FBB, and admires FBBers. But, considering the ignorant, moron-majority of, males that populate the Getbig forums...uhhh, what else would you expect!??

the word SCHMOO from the Lil' Abner comic strip. Schmoos were little

Schmoe, in my mind, makes me think of 40-50 year old men, who are pale, skinny (no muscle tone), have a bit of a belly, balding or receding hairline, glasses, and overinfatuated in some object or interest. .... In fact that's pretty much my description of a rapist too.

I personally like women of all shapes, sizes, and colors, (muscles included). As long as the girl has a good face it's all good, and sometimes even if she doesn't have the perfect face if you get to know someone and interact with them long enough they usually grow on you.

But seriously those people i described above /\ creep me out and I'm not even a chick.

The guys you are more or less talking about, I just think of as nerds or bodybuilding groupies or they have a thing for chicks with big muscles. Usually harmless folk, and nice down at heart, but always keep your eyes open for the one's listed above never know when you run into one of those, lol, the good thing about being a bodybuilding chick though is most likely you can beat the living crap out of your twisted admirer.

Well, Thank God that I am a Schmoe!!! I make a living off of Training, Feeding, & teaching women how to create a muscular Body. I think it is a good idea that I appreciate and enjoy the bodies I help create. It is said that more men, are not like a schmoe. I'm glad there is a word for it. Even though it may be a bit derogatory. My wife always calls me a schmoe, & she means it in a derogatory way.

Of course, you do have enough knowledge of the history of weight-training to realize that the pioneers of the iron-game…Jowett, Berry, Leibermann, Hoffman, Rader, Lalanne…all defined “bodybuilding” as ANYONE who trains with free-weights and machines (a.k.a. “progressive resistance exercise”) to improve their appearance, health, strength and athletic ability…don’t you!?

This, of course, covers literally millions of girls/women world-wide who would be clearly classified as female "bodybuilders" (FBBers) by this definition! It is these girls/women that I admire, support, defend…i.e. the ones that try to weight-train naturally! Why, I even started a thread on the G&O section of these boards, some time ago, trying to find/post pics. and profiles of ONLY natural FBB women. Yeah, I guess I am “infatuated” with strictly these ALL-NATURAL FBBers…and that includes, in particular, FBBers w/o breast augmentation!

Sadly, it is apparent that guys, like youself, try to select the miniscule no. of COMPETITIVE FBBers (some amateur, but mostly the pro. card carrying IFBB ones) who are virilized with heavy doping (androgens/GH), and then try to stereotype ALL FBBers in this category. But this is what, 1/2 of 1% (if even that high a percentage?) of the total no. of women weight-training worldwide!??

As we all know, there are many men who are terribly insecure and cannot handle assertive, competitive, intelligent, well-educated, professionally-accomplished, women who weight-train and have stunning good looks and SEXY CURVES, to boot! It’s just far “too much ALL-FEMALE WOMAN" for them to handle!

So, they compensate for this/these terrible flaw(s) in their intelligence, maturity, and REAL masculinity, by “ganging-up” on these Getbig forums against ALL weight-training women and bash/flame/stereotype them to no-end! After all, in their puerile minds "courage is in numbers"!

For example, they repeatedly bash/flame/ridicule ALL of FBB women by calling them “she-he’s”, transvestites; that they are all steroid users; and try to compare/stereotype ALL of them as looking like some heavily-virlized pro. IFBB competitive FBBer (e.g. like a Renee Toney, Iris Kyle, etc) in their pre-contest condition!

This premise is borne out by the periodic running of the tiresome, moronic, fact-distorting, never-ending, “Would You Hit It?” series of threads, on these boards. The very apparent goal of these ignorant/fact-distorting threads is to find and post pics. of the "ugliest-in the face", most masculine-looking", FBBers, in their very surreal/temporary gaunt/dehydrated "pre-contest condition" for the sole purpose of ridiculing and poking fun at these competitive FBBers...and then IGNORANTLY try and conclude that ALL FBBers look like this ALL OF THE TIME...I mean how DUMB and DEMEANING can you get!??
