So basically we're celebrating that a mean evil dictator has been brought to justice, and we have people like goatboy saying to restore order in Iraq, we have to be as ruthless as Saddam to do it... ahahahahaha... ok....

Chris mathews mocked the "Iraqis did it all" theory.

In fact, since he was caught, what, 2 years ago, the US has been in charge of him.  We only turned him over yesterday, and they quickly hanged him.

So, when they say "Iraq did everything, A-to-Z", they're ignoring the "C"apturing, "J"ailing, "P"rotecting, and a few others.  Definitely a joint effort.  But we're trying to avoid the blood on our hands.

Sadaam didn't declare war on anyone.

For the US to just *decide* which leaders of soverign nations should be fed to rival factions for execution, for the way these leaders treated those who plotted an overthrow...

I don't think the US has the right to remove leaders of soverign nations because they "might" do something.

The UN and many world intel agencies said there was no WMD program.  They were right.  We lost 3000 men, killed between 100 and 600k people, and delivered Saddam to his death, becase we felt like it.
