"Under federal law, pharmaceuticals may be brought into the country under certain guidelines."

"Up to 50 dosage units of a controlled medication may be imported without a doctor's prescription. It must be in its original container and must be declared."

Remember this is the federal law, under state law it is a whole different story. Once you pass through Customs you are subject to state law in which it is illegal to possess a controlled substance without a doctor's perscription. Therefore you better hide them pretty quick.

That makes no sense. Based on what you said it's ok to bring back something which is illegal to possess in the US without a prescription. I think someone was/is fucking with you. It's a good way to get busted.

Border Patrol or US customs was screwing with you, they must have been bored, imo. No way you can bring back 50 sustanon or deca no prescription. Even with a prescription its hard to. Good try bro... Stick with the domestic suppliers.

And fucked? Hell no. Customs can't screw with you like that. It would be entrapment. This was the second time I got busted. The first time was for 4 redijects of sustenon 250. They told me the same thing about 50 units. So I went back to Mexico and bought like 20 redijects, declared them at customs without a script and they let me through no problem. BELIEVE IT OR NOT. The only reason why I bought vet shit this time is that it is WAY cheaper.

chalk it up to stupididty and move on, you're lucky you're not sitting in jail, you should know better than to take stuff over the border, i don't understand some of you guys getting stuff mailed to you, taking stuff back from Mexico, giving someone the money and not getting anything in return, etc., just plain stupid, just hook up with someone in the gym and establish a relationship from there , i give you money, you give me my product, that's all it should be, let someone else take the risk of selling it.

I have never heard of this before in my life. I have crossed this border at least 100 times....sometimes with, and sometimes w/o. Everytime, US Customs asks me if I am carrying back any anabolics. After I tell them no, they go on to tell me the penalty (fine) that I am facing if they search me and indeed find steroids. This is brand new news to me. It is so new that I have been searching the www now going on 3 hours, and I can find nothing to substatiate this.....can you???

Did they search you?

Were you carrying human or vet gear?

Your right all they can give you is a fine if you don't declare

Exactly. All you get is a fine. You can get fined for not declaring anything from steriods to fuckin vegetables.

The first time a got busted it was for human grade shit. This time I didn't have human grade but vet gear. I knew vet gear was illegal.

Anyway when I got bust I also had on me two bottles of clenbuterol and nolvadex and declare those.

When I show them the clenbuterol, that when they searched me because they knew it was used in conjunction with steriods. I didn't think they'd know.

However after the fined me THEY LET ME KEEP THE CLEN AND NOLVADEX. NO PERSCRIPTION REQUIRED, all you had to was declare them.

CALL A CUSTOMS OFFICE ALONG THE US/MEXICO BORDER AND ASK. IT IS NOT ILLEGAL UNDER FEDERAL LAW. ASK AND YOU SHALL RECIEVE

All gear in the U.S. is illegal without prescription. Illegal to bring across the border. Also, illegal in Mexico too without a prescription. I would never declare anabolics to any type of law enforcement ever.

Hell yea, I'm from Texas too. I go down to progresso to get my stuff and it is legal. At least someone finally realizes this. How much do they cost there?

2) I Live in Tucson and travel to Nogales, Mexico every weekend.

You can, legally and without a prescription, bring back up to 50 dosage units (in the case with steroids, a dosage unit is one pill or 1ml of liquid) across the border IF you declare it, if it is in it's original packaging and sealed.

I know everyone thinks thats ridiculous but here's the catches.
1) Schedule 1 drugs are excluded, steroids is not a schedule 1 drug.
2) You MUST declare it. In other words, if they ask you if your bringing back anything, and you say "no" and are searched, you will be fined for not declaring chemical substances.
3) Yes, if you get pulled over on the way back and for some reason are stupid enough to deserve a car search, you are subject to Arizona laws in my case.
4) The drugs must be for personal use, which is why it's up to 50 units. Your not a drug dealer in their minds if you bring back 50 pills of vicodin.

How it SHOULD work:
You walk up to the agent by your turnstyle, and he says "Citizen?" or "Do you have anything you wish to declare?" At that point you'd say yes if he asked and produce your substances for inspection, and then will be able to pass.

How it ACTUALLY works: If they have to ask, and you have to take it out of your pocket, it's 75/25 that you'll be able to keep it. If you don't readily show them (under your own power) they can see that as you trying to smuggle. I made that mistake the first time and had the stuff confiscated. At this point I was told how to properly declare it. I went back literally right away, bought my 5 vials of Test E (50ml total) had them in my hand when I walked into the station, declared them without them asking, and was waved on.

At first glance you'd think this is not legit, but again the link this particular part of the Controlled Substance Act is:

The Reason why it was created and why not many people know it:
Wal Mart last year came out with a new clause saying by rule they will not prosecute someone caught shoplifting under $25 for the sole purpose that it's useless for them to do so. The Border Patrol is now basically doing the same thing by saying, "If you want it for yourself, fine. But we're going to crack down on the dealers trying to come through."

He keeps pointing out HE DECLARED IT!
Now, I'm not recomending you try it, and Im not sure about whats
the deal here. BUT-Remember you can get a big ass fine for a UNdeclared APPLE!

If you declare it (fruits etc)-They send you to a separate line to check it out usually. IF its forbidden, they take the food stuff, tell you its not allowed & send you on your way.
NOT-DECLARING (food anyway) gets a hefty fine. Redi-jects are a little more scary for me to consider declaring than some fruit. I've crossed lots of borders and this is kind of standard.

We were in San Diego this past weekend for a rugby tourny. During a break we took the tram down to TJ to eat and have a few beers. I got to talking with a guy at at pharmacy after watching 20-30 elderly people buying medication from him on how they get it back over. He said just to declare it when asked at customs. I was not feeling totally comfortable with it so I grabbed some clen, a couple of different antibiotics and a box of lasix. Although nervous, when asked at customs if I had anything to declare I said yes and handed him the bag I was holding. He quickly looked through it and asked the purpose of our visit (pleasure) and passed us on through. As we started walking out, there was a secondary table of agents who called me over and asked if I would put my bag and wifes purse in the x-ray conveyor. We did so and were on our way.
