The reason i believe jimmys posts is because people like you and lots of other respected people in this scene seem to think hes not making it up, the only people who dont believe it are the people you would expect no to for obvious reasons.

I believe that if someone is going to lie and blantly says things that possibly could be slanderous or damaging and potentially have negative ramifications against them personally, then their must be a powerful motive.  Enough of a motive to risk EVERYTHING.  I see Jimmy as a person who has competed, has lived the lifestyle and experienced things first hand.  He is not ruled or controlled by the Weiders or others and can say what he wants cause they can't do anything to affetc his life.  Others like Chic can only say positive things.  He is under their control.  They control his life and future.  I will always beleive a person who has been there and done that before a person who just reads and hears things at the gym or from others who have no actual experince.  Just like Serge.  He can say what he wants cause the powers to be have no influence on him or can do anything to him. 

I respect the elders on here.  They have stories and opinions that have substance.  They lived it.  They were there.  Most of the people on here have never met any of the people they talk about.  I take actual experince over heresay and reading about it in a magazine anyday.

It's very sad because you do change the way you view the sport and the athletes. It leaves some kinda sour taste when you whatch a training DVD or read a muscle magazine after reading such awful things. Try putting pumping iron in your DVD right now and see what I mean....

Jimmy has been entertaining but has written nothing newsworthy for quite a few days now. What gives? Maybe Jimmy is smart enough to know you have to be careful what you say on the internet. While speaking the truth is usually something laudable that doesn't mean you can say anything you want about other people in public. You have to be careful because you might not be able to prove your accusations and statements. If you cannot then you might have libelled someone and that is not a nice thing to do. I recall that Liberace won a famous case against a guy who claimed he was gay. Years later Liberace came out of the closet and we all smiled at his winning that case. He boasted that he now owned the bank he dealt with!

If Jimmy posts his opinions as just that then I have no problem with that. However, if he feels he is making accurate, factual statements then he should be cautious. While lots of people say outrageous things on Getbig there is a standard re slander and libel and one cannot just say anything.

Jimmy is saying very offensive things about Joe and Ben Weider. What proof does he have? His case about alleged sex for placings being important to bodybuilding success in the IFBB is weak, indeed.

If we go back to the controversial Mr Olympia in Sydney in 1980 it is clear to me that Arnold was considered a friend by most of the judges. I assumed he did shows for most of those guys or was mates with them. Arnold stated that he always associated with people who could advance his career. I did hear about a competitor in that contest kissing a judge at a gay bar in Paddington but that was after the contest. I have no idea if that actually happened. Sometimes straight men go to gay bars for a lark.

Yes but as the name suggests its mixed martial arts and apart from wrestling and muay thai you would think someone who claims to have been doing it 10 years would have some knowledge of the traditional martial arts.
