Yeah, dieting and weight training is "ridiculously draining". What a pansy.
Let me tell ya something, brian x. I've played many sports, spent many days at the westbury long island PAL with my twin brother who boxes (with Tommy Malloy new head of florida state boxing commision as his trainer) and profesional wrestle and can honestly say that nothing I've done is more challenging then my training lifestyle up until 19 years old with Steve Michalik, Mr america. I was 16 when i was doing two a days for 2 hours EACH SESSION. Try it out big guy, everyday of your life, every minute, every meal the same EXACT thing for 6 years...let me know how you do. Oh yeah, i forgot, 2 a day, 2 hour workouts, every sigle set challenging and if the set calls for 100 reps DO NOT SToP AND REST AT at #75, keep going if that's what it calls for. ( haha, today i think the doggcrapp method calls for a 20 rep set as a "widow maker?

" 20 reps, ya gotta be kidding. not that that aint tough but talk to me when you ROUTINELY do 100 reps and the weight keeps stripping off as the set progress', I was 16 doing this, FACT! Although you may train, my guess is you would have been one of the MANY, MANY people that tried and could only wish to keep up with me..........To this day I have NEVER seen another person train harder and more consistant then me...as hard and consistant, yes, but not more. That is what definitly burnt me out at 19, fortunately I always lived a healthy lifestyle( NEVER drank or smoked or hung out and partied) and never stopped training and still train incredibly hard today, for different purposes.
I agree that many bodybuilders after the early 90's went to sleep with their training and eating programs, but before that it was a much different mentality and anyone that was in it then will say the same thing. Find me any top level bodybuilders from the 80's and I put anything on the fact that they will say the training/dieting was nothing like today. By the way, some have mentioned Sergios eating junk and stuff and that may have been true, but i spent lots of time with Arlene (his wife that shot him) at the gym and from what she said he ate ONLY cans of tuna for 12 weeks before a show...ONLY cans of tuna.
Good night.
