TAXES  SUCK.     I got a  decent raise this year and almost the whole thing went to taxes. I work my ass off in a factory so I am not even close to rich...but why is it last year I made a little over 40 grand and paid between 5 and 6 grand in Federal taxes (I claim 0 no dependants) and this year I made 57 grand but paid in 16 grand in taxes? There is hardly any difference in my net pay and I had to take on way more responsibility and work harder.What is the incentive to work harder and make more money if the government is just going to take it?  I hate George Bush.

Yes, Adonis I WORK in a factory in a skilled trade,I am not a button pusher.I am not ashamed of the fact that I work for a living.I also do all my own automotive work,plus I paint cars on the side.You,on the other hand,are the type of guy that has to hire everything done...don't want to get your nails dirty. hahaha
