Its been said that Jay can't come in super shredded in the glutes and hams because as mellow as he comes across, that he is a walking stress ball...Hense why he has some serious OCD's...

I would imagine that being the guy to beat will cause so much more stress now then being in the chase....Like last year, it looks like he isn't giving his body the break it needs..(hormone wise)It payed off for him last year but how long can it last...Something has to give...Hopefully im wrong because Jay seems like a really good guy...

Actually my money would be on Melvin being the guy who gets screwed, ends up 3rd in 2007, then wins the O as soon as Ronnie and Jay quit.  Then the Melvin/Phil Rivalry can begin.  Phil is awesome but I think he's this decade's Levrone.  Sick sick genetics and always close, but what Levrone had with legs, Heath has with chest.  he'll always be a top guy and will pwn the ASC all he wants, but I just don't see it.  Sorry gift, not dissing you. Jay is a disgrace to the Mr. Olympia as he actually regressed the sport. Ronnie should have retained the title until someone could have presented a package similar to what Yates or Coleman did early in their career.

I really have nothing against Jay, I think he is a great bodybuilder with a great work ethic, but he simply is not on the level of Yates or Coleman.

a win is a win..he was better than ronnie last year on game day and that what matters the most..special or not special, level or no level he was a level ahead of ronnie last year.simple

Jay's face is always somewhat bloated and he is huge which would make him look fat in street clothes.  If you showed his picture on the couch to a lot of people, most who don't follow bodybuilding would think it was a fat guy.  To put things in perspective, that would never happen with a picture of Gunter for instance because his face doesn't hold as much water as Jay, and Gunter is longer giving him more of an athletic type of look.  This is what people mean when they say Jay looks fat.  He's obviously very far from fat.

Yes, I have noticed the same with some bodybuilders appearing to have a more bloated face then others. However, do not forget Jay and his wife had a late night as that was on new year's day iirc and you know how if you don't get enough sleep your face can feel bloated.
