I doubt I am the richest, but I do have a net worth over 2 million.

I inherited $65,000 5 years ago and bought a small 2 bedroom condo.  Sold it a few months later for a 40% gain.
I basically just followed that formula and got lucky with the real estate boom in LA and Vegas the last few years.
Made about 4 million profit, but I blew about 2 million liquid on travel, girls and cars ( yes a Ferrari or 2 ).

For the record I am definitely NOT the wealthiest member of the board.  I know of one board member who is worth over $500 million.  He's making about $1 million PER MONTH just off his investments.  

I'm actually not very wealthy…at least not by today’s standards.  I have a modest home in the Bay Area, not a mansion in Malibu.  I make a few hundred thousand dollars per year, not millions.  I did own some investment properties, but sold them off last year for a good profit.  I also own a consulting firm, which I started three years ago.  It generates a healthy amount of revenue, but has no equity, so it's nothing I can sell at some point in the future.  I do, however, have equity stakes in many of the companies for whom we do consulting work.  One, in particular, will likely be bought out this year, and I stand to make well over a million on the deal.  But, you never know.  

Bottom line, I live a very modest life.  I have no debt.  Nothing is leased.  I don't squander money on extravagant material stuff.  I'm fortunate to be able to do what I love, spend a lot of time with my family and be able to travel 4-5 weeks every year.  What more can you ask for?

We find products in niche channels that have potential and help take them to mainstream channels.  We do this with products across various food/beverage categories.  We have five active clients right now, which include a soda, a frozen bread product, an ice cream product, a cookie and a sports nutrition brand.  Two of those brands we have had from day one and are now national brands.  I love doing this.  I have a great team and we have fun working together.
