Thanks for the link diesel. While I agree something needs to be done about this issue, I do not agree banning entire breeds is the answer. I think society needs to get tougher on the people who use guns/dogs/knives, whatever to commit evil acts. Do you know animal abuse laws? They are mostly slaps on the wrist! You could be caught fighting pits, raising them into dangerous weapons and not see a day of jail time. Banning the entire pitbull breed will only lead to another type of muscular, tough, k9 to take its place. I know this for a fact. Before it was pitbulls it was Rottweilers. This link will give you hundreds of stories from across the globe of so called "safe" breeds maiming and killing people/children. All recent and all 100 percent legit. Just copy and pastes from news outlets. A pitbull is not a naturally people aggressive breed. This is a fact. You would get the same result from a Doberman if you raised him the way most of the people you hear in the news raise there animals.
