Coleman soft and puffy as usual.

Here is what a balanced, proportioned, hard, and dense rear dbl looks like.

Coleman looking retarded in the front lat spread: shoulders too small, quads too big, distended gut, no calves..... :-\

How about a Gaspari hijacking?  ;D  One of the very few to have better conditioning than either Coleman or Yates.

haha.

In all honestly, Camp Yates did show me that Yates was a lot better than I thought he was.  His structural flaws (gut and wide waist and hips) only really hindered him in the front poses (mostly when he was not posing in fact), and his dominance was due to his side and back poses which were easily the best.

But comparing him to Coleman... :-X

PS - Jay's 2006 rear lat spread beats anything Dorian ever had.

Hell no... Jay is wide but he can't touch Dorian's detail, esepecially in the lower back.

Yes I would say so.  Jay's rear lat spread is noticeably wider and while Dorian's back was in better condition, that matters more for the rear double biceps than for the rear lat spread where the entire back sort of smooths out anyway.
yep cuts back is wider than yates..although jays back really does not have cuts and detail like yates back but when jay does the back double bi hisback details look much better than when he does back lat spread..

Conditioning matters in every single pose not just certain ones and Jay is wider than Dorian not doubts about it , hell he's wider than a 290 pound Coleman but there are more to a pose than width.

ND: are you saying you lick the anus of Dorian Yates?  ???

I would say width trumps any other factor in the rear lat spread.  I'm guessing that you are just biased because you can see Dorian's ass in that pose lol.

Matt, you still have so much to learn.  Ronnie's size and thickness could never be doubted and he certainly outmuscles Yates but even in top shape he always has that somewhat "inflated" look and lacks the real grainy appearance.  Hard no doubt, but still a little pumped up, like his muscle quality is slightly lacking even after all his years training - yes, it came together for him a time or two.  Gargantuan mass aside, he looks plain wrong in the front lat due to overly long arms for his torso and his bulbous, breast-like pecs overpowering his shulders and his balloon thighs making his calves look poor.  Yates had a wide waist (at times) for sure but his actual hip structure is quite narrow.  Gaspari was mega hard and vascular but even he lacked the real deep cuts and detail - compare him to a vintage Al Beckles (85 for example) - especially the detail of the upper back.

Ruhl looks very good in the 99 GP pics by the way.
