MD's "No Bull" Radio is #1
« on: January 04, 2007, 10:56:51 PM »
I've spent a good portion of my evening listening to the replays of MD radio and I have to admit it's the real king of bb themed online radio programs. Listening to it, the whole flow of the episodes are more natural than that of PBW. Whereas Dan and Bob sound almost canned and stiff, the hosts on MDR speak more naturally and more relaxed.

Furthermore, the humour on MDR is outrages. Every episode I find myself genuinely laughing at some of the jokes they come up with. Also, whereas PBW claims to "tell it like it is" and "hold no punches" only MDR truly goes there. From making fun of their own criminal records, to Valvolino calling in and pretending to be Victor Martinez' gay lover from prison, to teasing Polumbo about selling fake gh, to Romano comparing Flex Wheeler's hijacking story to Dexter's, nothing is too sensitive to talk about.

All in all, I have to applaud MD. Not only do they have the best bb magazine, but now they have the best bb radio program as well. Bravo!

Big Papa, Congratulations.  That might be the dumbest post in Getbig history.  You just praised MD for creating a show that showcases criminals, glorifies and does skits about Victors gay lover, and than features a weekly segment with a guy who has gained fame for pumping oil into his body.  The whole show is a mess and it does nothing for the sport (except to make morons like you giggle a few times).  I agree that PBW is not a "funny" show.  But at least they are bringing some integrity to the sport.  That might explain why everyone listens to pbw and only a few MD supporters listen to the md show and laugh about how clever and funny it is to hear about selling fake GH.  Oh brother.  Wake up.

WHAT! Bob is funny, he needs to let loose more often and crack more jokes!

I can hardly get through a whole show of "No Bull". A lot of stop and go and the show dosent flow at all. The lame (unfunny) remarks often disrupt the shows harmony. I like PBW because it seems like they atleast reherse or work on their transitions. They both have a lot to work on. Its a shame that bodybuilding hasnt gone any further than PBW and NO BULL. You would think a billion Dollar Supplement industry would do more to bring bodybulding to a mainstream audience in a classier way.

Well, we succeeded in running that jerk-weed John Romano off the boards; maybe we can scare BPJ off, too.

Yeah - I listed to some of the episodes also - and got hit with the stupid True Adonis vs. Derek Anthony - and MD promoting the fight. Actually promoting a fight between two Getbig members.  And as usually - now with MD promoting the fight - they will come up with somelike like - oh we cant fight because MD's legal department says boo hoo on it. You watch. MD, True Adonis and Derek Anthony and the so called fight are playing everyone for a fiddle.

You know what - at least Pro Bodybuilding Radio brings on Ronnie Coleman, and sticks to the agenda of promoting bodybuilding - whille MD Radio gives us Greg Valentino - synthol abuser and rants on piss and crap that make people cringe everytime he is on.

I enjoy Chick and Solomons style.  Once again MD sucks.
