Maybe in Kevin's eyes being a B-rated movie star is better than being an A rated bodybuilder, plus he would have to become unsymmetrical and get a gut to win anything  :'(

Do the math...  Kevin will undoubtedly make far more from one B-grade movie than from an entire career of IFBB contest winnings.

I guess you don't know much about non union films and acting because you do not get much money for it.  Even day player, under 5 sag actors don't get much at all...  I don't know what movey Kevin did but I would guess he didn't get more than 175 a day to film it.

I don't think he should return to BB either...for what?  he did great, looks to have come out of it healthy and fit.  Always maintained cardiovascular health (as is evident with his incredible race against medalist within a month or so after olympia).

How do you know that?  Are you just speculating, because that is what's basically customary.  If he is non union he would get between 150 and 3 or so per day he is working on a non union shoot.  It could be that he is a sag member and got union fees.  i don't even know if the movie is union.  Regardless, he made much more from bodybuilding related work, but if he's having fun and has another goal good for him.

Well he may have gotten better but in his vids I totally agree, he's wooden.  The 100 pounds db thing and the badly acted soldiers spiel convinced me of this.

kevin was an awesome bb. one of the best ever. but why put his body thur those health risks again at 40 + years old. knowing kevin, i doubt that he would ever consider a comeback. when he retired in 03 his heart was not in it. i couldn't see that changing now. especially with him being a father now. if kev had a legit chance at being the next mr o, i would say yes.  but we know that would never happened. even if kevin looked better , the powers that be would never let kev win.

hate to tell ya, Earl, but a bodybuilder breaking into the film industry in the 70's is alot different then one breaking in today.  BB were not so common, pumping iron really made the film industry stand up and take notice of Arnold, especially since it opened with enormous success and many awards. 

You can't even compare Kevin's situation today....plus as many have pointed out he reallly doesn't got much charisma.  Did you see him host the olympia?  And that's something he is familiar with.
