Arnold wasn't really an ambassador for bodybuilding whille he was a bodybuilder, it wansn't until years after that he became a well known figure who could be associated to the benefit of bodybuilding. 

They appear to be banking on future potential of this Jay Cutler.  Perhaps they see potential for excellence in outside endevours in the future.
