That was nuts. NFL teams should have someone who only holds the snap, why use the QB anyway?

normally the last thing you worry about is the holder dropping the ball it shouldn't matter who holds E

Dude, their hands are so beat up at the end of the game. At least use the backup QB, but I am not sure if Bledsoe is the best option.

this happened twice in the last two weeks (bengals) I don't know of any other time it happened but yeah most teams use the backup qb or punter E

Actually it does matter since some players are better than others at holding and setting the ball properly prior to the kick. Romo has had that responsibility all season. There are players on a lot of teams in the NFL whose only responsibility is holding and setting the ball for the kicker and nothing else. I'm guessing Romo muffs one snap out of 100 tries during a season. Wrong time for that one time to happen.

The killer was, after the muff Romo was so close to making it in to the end zone for a touchdown

Romo was annointed God after 9 games though, That will bring him back to earth

Keeps the other teems guessing. The quarterback can do anything when he gets the snap besides just hold the ball.

Romo held all the snaps when Bledsoe was qb.

So what are they supposed to do? Make Bledsoe the holder. Now that Romo is holding, many more things can happen than just a point after or a FG. That's the beauty of having a holder who can do multiple things. This year he only missed winning by inches on a play that will be practiced again and again.

Just a statement mang, prob had confidence Romo could make the hold, since he held most the year. Either way it was an awful moment for them all
