That is pretty impressive. Not sure if I totally believe it or not, but if true that's impressive.

The most amazing bit of news that came out of UFC 66 is the fact that Chuck Liddell handled Tito Ortiz with a torn medial collateral ligament. In the Nevada State Athletic Commission's post-show report, Liddell was listed as having an injured knee, without specifying which one, and the Iceman himself isn't saying which one was hurt. Liddell did confirm to Josh Gross of Sherdog.com in an Internet radio interview over the weekend that he hurt an MCL.
Liddell injured his knee in training for the fight, but didn't want to ruin the biggest show in UFC history by pulling out, and didn't even tell UFC president Dana White about the injury until after the fight.

I tore 3 ligaments (not completely though) including MCL and it didn't really hurt. Just some swelling

after getting surgery i iced the hell out of it every day for an hour+ each time because it would swell up constantly. I burned my skin from the ice countless times, but it felt great.

Wow - Iceman just got MORE points in his already impressive resume...
He is the champ in true sense of that word!

I still think that Tito lost primarily for NOT BELEIVEING that he can beat Chuck...

I hope that Randy comes out of retirement and tell us tomorrow (on Spike TV) that he is coming back for just another shot at defeating Chuck...

And speaking of the Mirko Crocop Filipovic - I believe that match everyone would LOVE to see is Chuck-Mirko...as Mirko can make the weight and actually compete as heavy and light-heavy...at the same time...

Its become obvious Tito is not the beast we were beginning to think he was.......his only accomplishment this far was beating a washed up old timer...shamrock.

Torn MCL's, really don't diminish what a fighter of Lidell's status is capable of. I was able to train for a national event without any real pain. After the punishment those guys withstand in training, a torn mcl, is like a runny nose. That being said, the man is truly awesome and unbelievable. Lidell vs. Crocop! Bring it on!

MMAWeekly has confirmed through various independent sources close to the situation that Randy “The Natural” Couture is set to announce his return from retirement. Never one to sidestep a challenge, his first opponent is to be UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia.

UFC 68 on March 3rd in Ohio.

it too should be announced in the next week or so that UFC bought Pride and that fighters will be allowed to go back and forth and fight in both without any issue so UFC can bring bigger fights here (and to their new HBO signing).
