I am no fan of communism, in fact, I oppose it.

But lets set some things straight. Communism has nothing to do with welfare.

Communism is a theory of how the society will develop. In the end, Marx predicted, there will be no governing bodies, and there will be equality, no poverty, everyone will live in moderate sized communities.

I think he was wrong. But again, communism isn't about welfare.

Welfare could be associated with conservatism or social liberalism, ideologies that believes it to be effective to support the weak link, although they have slightly different reasons for doing so.

Socialism is garbage.

Technically there's never really been a true communist state, they were all socialists and they sucked donkey dick.

Liberalism is the best and most logical political ideology in existence today. Stuff like free speech, laissez-faire economics and other liberal ideals have had the biggest hand in creating great places like the US, Europe and Japan..
