I was in the subway recently and this smelly black bum was mouthing off some poor old light skinned lady for no reason. The dude just started staring her down at first, then he started talking nonsense about slavery and other bullshit I couldn't hear. The lady was probably spanish or eastern euro because she couldn't really say anything back and she was also terrified. There were even some black people in subway cart that thought the whole incident was funny. I had seen enough and so had this one hispanic dude and we got out of our seats and told that black bum to fuck off and that was enough to get him off the cart at the next stop.
The thing that really bothered me about the incident was that no one wanted to step up to defend that poor lady, they acted as though that fucking bum had a right to harass that lady just because he was black. It took me, a person that was almost on the other end of the cart, to step up, along with the mexican dude to do the right thing.
