Cinderella Man, one of the best movies ever period.. I love those true stories..
I hate almost all movies that are based on true stories because they tend to always be overdramatic and in the end unrealistic. I am more into factual stories like shit you see on History Channel or other educational channels.

After I watch these "based on a true story" movies, I research for weeks on the story.. I have never found anything to be false to make these movies more exciting than they really were.. The only part in Cinderella Man that was false was the friend that died in Hooverville didn't really happen. I'm not sure why they added this, maybe to get you to realize what was going on at that time in history..

That's my point, they either add in a dramatic part or over exaggerate things to make them more exciting. I prefer facts over fiction and I would consider myself a history buff.

Then you'll like "Unforgiveable Blackness" a well made documentary on PBS and available on DVD re: the life of Jack Johnson, one of the greatest heavyweights of all time. Very fact based and informative.

Rocky IV is the most inspiring as far as the training scenes and Sly was in the best shape of his life for the movie.
