Apple Just Dropped a Nuclear Bomb on the Existing Portable Electronics Market

Everyone's been going nuts waiting to see what Steve Jobs was gonna unveil today and he definitely delivered.  The iPhone comes out in June and Cingular's gonna be the exclusive service provider...$499 for a 4GB and $599 for an 8GB model.  They say it's just a half-inch thick, complete with headphone jack and 2 mega-pixel camera...and remember this thing still plays movies, TV shows and shit in widescreen, GPS, the works.  I'm sure you'll be able to buy everything available on the iTunes music straight from your cell phone bill account and download them directly into the device, if not when it comes out in just a little while longer.

ant keep up with all the thread about this.... buttttttt.... i dont think it'l be a success... exclusively touchscreen!... horrible idea... i have the cingular 8525 now, it has touchscreen but also has a proppper keeepad... imagine typing, dialling or browsing the internet without a keyboard and without a stylus
