I stopped reading Jeff Everson's Planet Muscle about 4 years or so ago when he openly endorsed Vyotech, in one of his Q & A's, it did not set well with me. I'm surprised they are having $$$ troubles I thought they said they recieved a 10 million dollar Australian government grant to research their product 
Look into that suspicious Australian grant... I think you'll see where this is going.
