That was the time when the people at Weider's made a point that every cover of FLEX was from REAL training sessions captured on camera. I miss Bill Reynolds days so bad. Peter McGough sucks ass big time and so does Chris Lund fake ass plates with fronted training sessions (did you guys ever see that Kamali's spread , where he's front squatting in a smith machine with about 7 plates per side? LOL!!).
I have this exact same magazine edition. Inside it, they mentioned that on that particular day, Platz had ALREADY trained legs in the morning , and it was his heavy squat day
In the afternoon, he was back at Gold's ONLY for that photoshoot, with his girlfriend at the time that happened to be his first wife, before Cha (Maxrep, help me here, what was her name?) and FYI, no, those are not fake plastic weights, they were the real deal.
