That's right my friends, after many years where people thought that Jay owned a part of even the whole store, this time it'll be for real as Jay becomes officially a part owner and gives his name to the store. I'm sure many of you that frequent the store saw that coming as it is litteraly a Jay Cutler Museum in there with tons of his pics, covers and even checks he earned on the Olympia stage the past 3 years.
Jay and I have been really good friends since 2003 and this is just a natural progression as he really likes the shop and wants to see it prospere even more than it has the past 2 1/2 years.
Aside from that, Jay has asked me to help him out on a more official basis with all his business affairs such as bookings, appearances, etc...
I was already sort of doing that before with all the Max Muscle stores since they know me and I know him, but now he actually tells people I'm his manager (which I admit is very funny to me since I consider myself much more of a friend than anything else) but anyway, I am glad he feel confident enough in my abilities to help him with all his work, and believe me since the Olympia, the work is not what has been missing in his life. It's crazy!!!
So that's it! We will also have an official party to announce the involvment of Jay with the shop on Sunday, April 29th, the day after the Orange County Classic where Jay will be guest posing. It'll be a great party with food, drinks and lots of other cool stuff including the new Max Muscle clothing collection and special discounts all day. I'm sure my friends at Weider will want to cover that and maybe even Peter will grace me with his presence and his lovely wife's.
I'll keep you posted on the details as the date approaches.
