It isn't particularly good. It's one of those unfolding backwards flicks... so the worst happens during the first half, then drifts off into vaseline lens fields of flowers for the last 15 mins. The movie takes on vengence, violence, and racism in Paris, obviously through the "you can never go back" looking glass. The weird whirring/music during the violent first half is annoying as hell, and the director used this jerky hand-held camera technique that is totally nausea-producing. Maybe it was supposed to be annoying and grating. I don't know. I fast-forwarded a few times.
