Aside from reflexively dismissing it as bullshit, I never really thought about what it meant that Flex Wheeler had told this story. But confronted directly, the fact of his having done so makes him either pitiably deranged or one of the ballsiest bullshit artists of all time. Neither would make an ennobling epitaph.
