Tyson in his prime would have beaten Holyfield, easily. I don't think anyone could
have taken him at the time he knocked out Michael Spinks. But... he didn't have
anyone to take care of him, thats was his biggest problem.
I don't think Tyson was overated. He was a great fighter who beat evryone put put infront of him up until Douglas and then Holyfield. Douglas was a great fighter when he wanted to be.
Sure, Tyson wasn't in his prime but neither was holyfield. You could argue that holyfield was even futher beyond his pime than Tyson. He'd bern in many, many more tough fights than tyson, had been fighting longer and more frquently than Tyson. Had tyson won that fight against Douglas and fought Holyfield back in 1990 when they were in their prime, i think the result would have been the same. Styles make fights and holyfield had the style to beat tyson.
