I watched a program on Channel 4 about free running a couple of years ago, some English guys ended up running through a shopping centre, was pretty amazing the stuff they were doing.

You should check out the opening of Casino Royale. The free running is so spectacular they had to give the guy a special credit.

no sh*t--------what was the guys name--Parkour or something like that------I think he was the one (Parkour) who invented or made it popular-----not sure though

amazing clip. that's some crazy parkour. i know some of the french guys are great, but they almost look professional, very athletic build, training indoors like gymnasts etc. this guy looks like any skinny kid, and check that russian environment, a lot tougher than a shopping mall.

i guess that's the ingredients needed, to be young and to be fearless... it's not like they sit around and wait for someone to OK what theyre doing... they're just out there coming up with that shit.

you know i dont get amazed but a lot these days... pretty much seen it all, whether talking special effects, video games or whatever, but you just cannot watch a clip like that and not be amazed... sure they've edited, practiced before, putting it all together etc but still they do some sick shit that not a whole lotta people would do

parkour is the french name of the thing... Sebastien Foucan is the inventor (yes i looked it up)

David Belle is actually the creator... He created Parkour http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parkour

Sebastien Foucan created Free Running a variant of Parkour which focus on the aesthetics as well

Free Runners are AWESOME! I'd love to see a good action/crime movie based on Free Running. Maybe a series of bank robberies and the chase scenes would be great.
