Seems to be a new trend going around. Bodybuilders are being targeted because they are most likely gay and are easy prey...even being compared to beating on old women.

That depends on your definition of bodybuilders.Are you talking about the little guidos in the gym wearing their string tank tops in full lat spread mode,yealling and screaming while benching 185lbs.Or are you talking about the guys that actually compete and normally stay covered up at the gym and especially in public.There is a huge difference.Most competative bodybuilders in this area keep to themselves,get their work in and bother no one.The guys that are a pain in the rear are the wannabe lifters,all roided up and weighing in at a bloated and smooth 180 walking around like they are someone.

all the people i know, myself included, who are serious about bodybuilding or even fitness in general, go to the gym, work out and leave.  most of those same people are very humble and sincere people.  i think you got one type of person confused with the show off type.

What B.B. says does have some merit. I have been challenged numerous times for no other reason than my size. How many other guys here have heard some drunk idiot say "Yeah , your'e big but I bet you ain't so tough.", "What do you think your'e a Badass because your'e big?".......or some other  version of that?


Perfect example. I'm standing in line at a Pizza Parlor on Fire Island, minding my business.
Some 5 foot 8, stocky little Tank Abbott wannabe and his goofy looking friend are in front of me. They notice me and start passing comments, which progressively grow more abusive and threatening. I'm basically ignoring it beause I have two girls with me and i don't want to fvck up everyone's night, until "Tank" gets right in my face and asks me if I think i can kick his ass. I reply " Buddy i don't know what the fvck your problem is but get the fvck out of my face before I hurt you." STILL trying to avoid beating this little shit's ass.

So the fvcker head butts me. At that point the little pudgy fvck got exactly what he was looking for. I beat that motherfvcker from one end of that Pizza Parlor to the other. His "friend" actually CUT AND RAN........ what a pussy.

I too have had situations in clubs and other places where drunk (and foolish) guys always pick on me, saying stuff like "Don't think you scare me cause you're big" etc (as if I'm there to try intimidate 120 lb monsters with epic 11" cannons ) I've also noticed how the really big guys like the bouncers or guys who really know how to fight never provoke anyone. This is because they're secure and comfortable with who they are. Only the wannabes, whose inner insecurity is further increased / threatened by a big guy try to pick fights when they've got a little dutch courage happening or when they're with their mates, in front of whom they feel the need to show off

Normally when foolish guys pick on me, my right fist or my left leg handles the situation. Sometimes it gives me pleasure to see them bleeding. When I work as a security some guys pick on me saying they are not afraid, guess what, punch on the way. I know a lot of people, and I had difficult situations, but never with mma wannabe kids, or anti-muscles assholes, those are sitting ducks.

No, but guys in their 20s seem to get insecure easily when their girl is around.  Usually leads to puffed chests and territorialism (in a line, at the bar, wherever).  Be nice, most people don't really want a fight, they just want a respectful distance.
