I bought an old issue of Muscle & Fitness today for $1 - November 1980!

I wish I had a scanner. Some funny shit in that rag. I'll see what I can quote. Hold on  ;D

Well first off Weider seems to be using BILL PEARL as their main man in the ads. "Olympians are here! Enjoy this advantage shared by champions"

Doesn't seem to have the variety of today though - "high protein" "super protein" "milk egg, yeast, meat, fiber dynamic muscle builder" "super protein" "90% protein"

Damn man, can't have been that many supplement companies around back then, I've always felt that Weider fucked up in recent years, not being able to compete with other supplement companies... but check this magazine - first 2 pages of "Olympian" with Bill Pearl then another 6 pages with Lou.
Then another 13 pages. All in all - 21 pages.

I have every single Muscle and Fitness and Flex magazine from January 1981 (M&F) and 1984 (Flex...with Arnold on his motorcycle Flexing) to PRESENT Day.
