Dutch steroid use up 200%?

200% increase in use of anabolic steroids
Wednesday 31 January 2007

The number of people using anabolic steroids and other illegal substances to boost their physique or sporting performance has gone up by 200% to 150,000 over the past four years, says the Dutch doping authority. The authority warns that the users, mainly young men, are risking their health by taking enormous quantities of illegal, and often contaminated, performance boosters

According to that article 1 in 106 people in the Netherlands has used steroids.

I don't really think this is true, the actual number of juicers is way lower than that.

I'm Dutch  :D

It sais that in 2001-2005, in a timeframe of 4 years usage in Holland increased with 100%, so usage doubled. While in 1997-2001 usage was decreasing. People are paying more attention to their physiques and/or athletic performance, more people are getting into it so usage is increasing.

Well im american......... and METH is on the rise. Its terrible to see young kids strung out and homeless. At least steroids promote a clean lifestyle(for the most part)
