A funny Personal Training Story.
« on: February 03, 2007, 09:16:24 AM »
About 20 years ago, I was starting to train people when PT was just coming to the fitness industry.  This is before the bouncin balls, and core Bull.  I would just train a couple people a 3 times a week for some extra cash, since I was in Los Angeles, and I was really into playing music as a profession more.

Well this girl that I trained, her mother hired me because she was getting into modeling, and she needed to lose some bodyfat and build up.  So after training her for about a month, she says to me "my dad wants to come down and watch you train me."  I was like no problem.  And I started to train with her, and she goes, he should be here in a couple minutes.  I said no biggie.  All of a sudden people that worked at the gym started to congregate at the front of the gym, and she goes, "my dad must be here!"  I go really and she says "do you know who my dad is?"  I said no, and she goes, "Superstar Billy Graham..."  The man with the original 22inch Pythons, the original Hulk Hogan.  I was like, oh shit, a famous pro wrestler examining me training his attractive 17 yr old daughter , this was a lose lose situation.

Well at any rate, as I kept my composure, I actually trained her old school.  Real weights, cables, cardio, and she made progress, and he approved and shook my hand after my training session.  Needless to say, I sighed a sigh of relief, and actually felt like I past a major test.

This was about 18-20 yrs ago.  For those that are too young to appreciate this, google him.

This gets lumped right in with the other 20 year old stories. Right alongside Intenseone's 535 bench and Richard2004's world record powerlifts.  ::)

If that is true it must have been quite an experience. If this hapened to arvilla he would probably write it on the wall.

His daughters name was Capella.  Superstar hobbled in with a cane, he had hip surgery.  Blamed the juice for his hip and joints going out.  Also, Capella's mother told me some outrageous story of juicin up pro bodybuilders in that time if the 70's.

She had told me about the massive, I mean massive amount of juice they used to take, Him arnold and columbo.  She could have been tooting her own horn, and I don't know all the details since I know little about juice.  Again, I don't know this as fact only what she had told me.  He has a book that came out last year I just read on the internet.  Maybe there will be some stuff in there.

Good story, but you should've put it in the History section...if only to keep fuckwads at bay, like the ones who responded the way they did here.  Remember, the common denominator of the choada boyz like the Sploogefather and his namby-pamby twats-in-tow is pretty base-level.

Nope, it's not my job, you know who these people are, I'm content, I have nothing else to prove, you guys are the one's making a big deal out of it. Like I said, there's people at Westside who do the same thing all the time but they don't compete....it's not as unusual as you might think!
