CH-46 chopper shot down in Iraq

5th chopper down in 2 weeks.  It's breaking news now. 

What happens when we lose the air advantage there?  If we've been at a stalemate when we had complete air supremacy, what happens when we are suddenly limited in that capacity?

It will simply speed up the inevitable. We'll declare "victory" and stop guarding anything but our expensive new embassy and the oil facilities.
