I don't think anyone thinks Arnold is a god... I sure don't. Arnold to me was the best bodybuilder only followed by Sergio and Flex.

How many people do you see today that look like that?

 3.) That was far from Arnold best form.

Critasicm is valid of Arnold in that form, but to say that is "the average beach physique" is dumb. The average beach physique, is a 180 pound kid with abs.

A guy with his history as a pro and by then somewhat famous shouldn't feel the need to walk around shirtless looking for even more attention.

He had one, but left it in the sports car of the girl he finished nailing approx 15 seconds before this picture was taken.

Shortly after Vince basile snapped this one, Arnold kicked sand in the face of an unsuspecting beached mortal (named Vince basile), took his shirt and his girl, and the entire episode repeated itself.

I love on the Pumping Iron DVD there's the deleted scene of all the guys up at the muscle rock and Arnold's hitting the poses and someone sarcastically says "No one will look at the legs" then Arnold hits a really low most muscular to cover up his legs and everyone laughs ;D. Awesome!!!!

If anyone had spent any time around that Venice/Santa Monica beach area (or say they have) they would know that quite a few guy's walk around without a shirt on. Going or coming, that's the beach dress (parking 4 or 5 blocks away from the strand, you still take the shirt off). Trying to catch a few rays for that tan any chance you get for our white brothers. And the black bros just like to show what's going on. This can be any time of the year, when going shirtless at the beach. Arnold looks like he has lifting straps in his hand, so he might be leaving the gym and checking out the good "stuff" down on the beach.

San Diego is the same way along the beach. Plus, like the L.A. area, young women with nearly nothing on, going to the beach, is very good indeed.
