Short version....

Went to LA. Went to Venice Gold's. Ate at the Firehouse (food was brutally good).
Walked on Venice Beach and got some sun.

Special Ed yells out "Hey Flex", and he comes over to our table.
Very, very, very cool guy. I admit I was a bit starstruck after just seeing him in the last issue of MD.
Took a couple of shots with him. Going to Venice Gold's was a dream come true for me.
Don't wait till you're almost 37 to do it....

OK people listen up...

It ain't the Firehouse, it's either, Fire Bomb, Smoke Bomb, or the Shithouse. Those are the three names accepted for use by Venice locals. Yes, the food is good, not great... good.

Back in the day, if you worked at Gold's, you were most likely comped at the Fire Bomb, that made it a good place to eat. Even if you weren't the prices were low. Now, the prices ain't so low, but its location still makes it a good place to eat post-wokout.

Glad you had a good time - did you hit World Gym as well ? The big salad with eggs etc was good when I went there - Dorian was chowing down at the time...
