Do you know anything about this? Like as far as its effectiveness?

Lazy fatasses around the country rejoice!  I'm waiting for the "must use sensible diet and exercise program" in the fine print though.

Not really.

I made this comment awhile back in another thread.

It might work for some dieters and probably works well for a good portion of the obese population who eat like crap.

It would have absolutely no effect on someone like me.  I eat a very clean diet year round.  When I put on weight, it's from too many calories and not enough cardio, but those excess calories come from clean sources.  I don't have a problem with junk food, fast food, fatty food.  I have no desire to eat those things and don't.  Xenical works by not allowing about 1/3 of consumed fat calories from being absorbed and gives you a stomach ache if you eat too much of something like french fries (so then you cut back even more).  So again, it would be useless to me on a diet since my fat sources are mostly clean - ie: chicken (nominal fat), salmon, occassional lean steak, fish oil, egg yolks... and I want full absorption of those.

Yea, it seems like the only time this drug would be really beneficial is to take it with a big cheat meal.  But then, it sounds like you'd have all kinds of nasty side effects!  What's the point of taking a fat-blocker if you can't eat any fat with it???
