yes it works.

get the extra strength....only problem is if u stop using it the results eventually go and u are back to normal...but its the best way to go.

good luck.

Yes, that's the problem, you have to keep taking it.

all the info i've read says that rogaine and the like only work on the top of your head, and not so much on the hairline.....do you guys have personal experience with the hairline?

the hairline is harder...it helps alot on the hairline...but like u said...its much ahrder to regrow ur hairline..u can make it thicker over several months.

how old are u? and how much hair have u lost? age and amount of loss play a big role in the effectiveness of the product.

I do. It helps with the crown of your head but does nothing to stop the hairline from receding. Same goes for finesteride.

yeah that makes sense... its not that great at stoping the receding at the fron of the head (but does make it a lil thicker) it works wonders on the crown though (thank god lol)

thats the first sign... u notice it out of nowhere...or when the hairdresser wets ur hair and slicks it back and u notice the front is thinner or going in abit....

i recommend u get extra strength rogaine...or even better kirklands (same shit just cheaper price) and use one or twice per day...in a couple months u won't even notice any loss u origiinally had cos it sounds like a small loss in ur case....the younger u start the better.

it won't help the hairline...but if your hairline is receding the crown will be next.A receding hairline isn't as bad as a big bald spot.At least you can work around a bad  hairline somewhat by changing hairstyles...a bald spot looks bad and a combover looks worse.

Proscar seemed to slow my hairloss down quite a bit...but stopped it because I feared the side effects..namely gyno and ED

never heard of it.

from the sound of it (if is hormonal)...it probably lowered ur testosterone and maybe therefore lowered the dht ...which i think is what kills the hair follicles and stops hair growth

Proscar is the same as Propecia. Same exact drug (finesteride) only it is a 5mg tablet instead of 2.5 mg. It is prescribed for prostate trouble.Dr. wrote script for Proscar instead of propecia because insurance won't pay for propecia because baldness is just a cosmetic thing. You are correct it inhibits the conversion of test to DHT.

yeah.

propecia works better than minoxidil (the ingredient in rogaine) but it can fuck with ur hormones.

my friend took it and said his libido dropped and his dick felt dead lol....and then when he stopped it went back to normal...but propecia does work well.

You cannot stop it.  Better off getting a hair cut that deals with it, ie crew cut/shaved and stop wasting money on expensive hair grow supplements you'll have to continue buying for life
It hasn't helped...

Get yourself some Biotin,
I am 27 and I too noticed that my hair seemed to get thinner.
The gal that cuts my hair told me that biotin works, so I picked some up, and it made a huge difference
You can buy it at walmart for cheap. Like $6.00 for 120 capsules 5000mcg each.  I take two each night before bed. I noticed a difference within 2 weeks. My hair is thick again.  Make sure you goto walmart, not GNC as the crap there is expensive!

You guys are supposed to be bodybuilders, right?

So get massive and shave your noggin.  Spend the money you save on food and supps.

Just my $0.02.  And yes, I have a shaved head.
