true, but continuing the politics analogy you have to remember mindspin holds an enormous grudge against sarcasm. it would be in his best interest to "neither confirm nor deny" in order to make it sound like he's subtly confirming it when in reality he knows there isn't one (and can thus claim innocence later when the truth comes out, whatever it may be).

OMFG!!!!!!!  Just got done reading this post.  

1.  Squad was never owned.  (not defending them as I am not a part of it)

2.  That recent pic was from like 1975, seriously.  The photographic picture is starting to deteriorate hence the yellowing.

3.  This guy melts like velveta.

4.  He is challenging SF in a lift that Dick2004 specifically trained for.  If you want to issue a challenge just say hey meet me at the gym, and well see who will lift more weight.  Modifiers are so gay.

exactly. if you want to look at this entire issue from a political slant, the luke got the equivalent of a very strong check (to add chess), though not quite checkmate.

you can't prove a negative, so there's no way to explicitly prove there ISN'T a letter. however, due to the nature of the story, he can claim legal reasons he can't reveal it. thus if anyone denies it, ron or whoever else, he can go back to the argument that ron especially is legally prevented from admitting there is a letter and that he's "said too much".

and knowing that other mods dislike the squad as well (such as, say, mindspin; remember the whole thing started up during MS's battle with sarcasm), he knew that some would take the "well i can't say there ISN'T a letter, wink wink..." approach in order to perpetuate the myth that there is one but they're not allowed to talk about it.

Actually I find him to be quite amusing.  I've had it out with SSBG and Berzerkfury a couple of times but were cool now, but hey it's a board.  You gotta have a thick skin.  People get flamed all the time.  But when you meltdown in everypost it like this guy, it's like chumming the waters.  People are just waiting to own people like this. 

But in the call out, If they were to lift tomorrow, I'd say SF would take him.  The past is the past and now is now.  You may hate SF cause he's constantly owning people, but it's fun and he's living in the moment and it beats some guy talking about his glory days.  In the great words of Christopher Walken: "The past is the past, The now is now!"

Luke, when your hobby is hunting something for which there is very little evidence, it doesn't bode well for your credibility when you start doing the same thing on the internet.

You've already said if you're wrong you're willing to lose your account, so just post the letter.  The worst that can happen is for you to lose your account anyway.  You're not gonna get any result from your challenge, so I think its time to release your evidence to the world or just give this up.

Please explain to me The Luke what the "legal" rammifications would be of posting this letter if the individual in question did not have their true identity i.e. real name divulged? Black that out and post this letter. Let us at least see this. For you to keep stating there are legalities involved in why this proof must remain secret is just ridiculous. Please elaborate on these legal issues..
