you're not a bad guy Richard and just for the record i do respect your lifting feets and i've said many times that i greatly respect the all time greats like Anderson, Casey, Hepburn, Schemansky, John Davis, Ken Patera, Alexeev, Joe Dube, etc.
SF, let me at this time to personally, and publicly, apologize to you for all of the names and derogatory remarks I have called-you/made-about-you! It really was/is all intended in fun and nothing is meant personally or mean-spirited.
I love arguing, trading insults, etc. on these boards...it's a lot of fun...and I really enjoy "getting emotional" and having my "meltdowns"!!
SF, what we all have to struggle with thoughout our weight-training careers (and I know that a lot of other fellows like yourself, out there, have also "paid their dues", as I feel I have-as well) is to painfully watch the poundages we are able to lift become progressively less and less as we grow older.
As you can well imagine, the measurement of your decline in strength as you age is "painfully exact" in weight-training...probably more so than in any other sport!
In my sixties, I struggle to lift, at-all, weights that I used to warm-up with in my teens and 20's!! But, I promise you, I still train hard and intend to do so till the day I die! Hey, maybe, I can fall-over-dead knocking out a 20 rep. set of all-out breathing back squats...what a way to go!!!
