I really have no worries when using gear except that it could affect my ability to have kids.... i am not real educated on this topic, which is why I would like to here some thoughts and comments....

I know a couple of you guys got your girl pregnant while "on" but i still kinda get concerned sometimes....for example: I am currently running a cycle using the "no hcg til the end" method for purposes of experimentation...which means my ass is shut down the whole time (24 weeks) but then I understand that even when you take hcg during cycle you still aren't functioning properly, you are just "tricking" the hpta....

OK----enough of that bullshit, but I know several of you guys in here who are in new marriages or about to get married and are responsible successful guys and are in the same boat that I am in with this so lets dive into it and discuss---in the meantime, I will be posting studies and articles in this thread about the issue and I will appreciate any contributions---

your beloved and true bodybuilding and gear using friend whom you can always count on---bluesfan--and by the way--anybody love the blues?

While on a cycle, you greatly reduce FSH which will lower sperm count. Sometimes this is enough to make you sterile during a cycle, sometimes not. However, in all the consults and e-mails, and people I've ever met, I only knew one person who was genuinely (permanently) infertile from AAS use, and he started qt 14 years old and hasn't stopped since, except when he tried to conceive (he eventually adopted). He's 34 now.

A good friend of mine, 27yrs old, a National level competitor, he's been using for a good while now, heavy cycles. I talked to him yesterday and he told me his wife was now pregnant...BTW, she got pregnant while he was on cycle. So I'm guessing this baby should be born at about 25lbs, 2%BF

I just had a baby so i think you have nothing to worrie about and i was on test and eq cycle at the time.

My wife got pregnant while I was on my last cycle, and ended up having a miscarrage 6 weeks later,

Nothing to do with my aas use, It was in God's hands.

Kinda sucked pretty bad, but we are thankfull for the two beautiful happy healthy kids we already have.

I don´t think that´s likely to happen (infertility).
BUT, there´s this guy Tony Halme here in Finland, he used to be a professional wrestler and boxer. He wrestled under the name Ludvid van Borga, He was in the WWF (now WWE) in the 90´s and now he´s a politician here! Hahahaa... That guys great, anyhow he used gear about 20 year (hes own words) and now when hes in hes 40´s he hasn´t been able to concieve and he said it´s probably due to AAS. Friend of mine told that he was known to start a cycle with 300mgs of A-bombs (six weeks) + boatload of sust and deca.

Sooner or later you´ll roll snake eyes...

You also got to remember theres lot a guys dont have kids NEVER juiced.
Also stress and just plain lack of sack time from a high pressure job will do it.
I got wifey prego when I was on andriol (Trash) and stanoz (pink cetabons).
Hey if your extra horny & hump more, and havent knocked down SPERM COUNT & MOTILITY, odds are going up. But I can tell you, heavy, even moderate test/ Deca cycles WILL KNOCK YOUR COUNTS DOWN. World Health Organization
(WHO) did research on longterm male contraception w/ 200mg enanthate. Their research is not hard to find on the web. I can tell you thats worked for over 2yrs straight for me. 1 kids enough.
But, IF you throw anything else @ it, or crank up the dose, and you may need to name your new son Enanthate.

I know two local pro's (in Toronto) that I've talked with and they told me they're both shut down permanently and can't have kids, in fact one of them is married and his wife is crushed.. he just found out 2 years ago, that's what you get for being on gear for 15-20 years straight. Not saying it happens to all, just some.

That is very possible. Think about it if that is important to you. I know for a fact it shuts down and can take a long while to recover.. But, in the post study findings of that WHO male contraceptive research, all subjects recovered. But how many guys only use 200mg Enanthate? It has worked well for contraceptive just like that. They are working on new male testo contraceptives all the time.$$$

Bottom line is if you are responsible and make sure your body has time off to recover and be its own boss again for a little while a couple of times a year then there shouldn't be any problem. Everyone's different though I guess. 15-20 years straight?!?! thats totally nuts. And 300mg p/wk A-bomb... forget the nuts.. his liver should have packed up years ago...

I went off my cycle for 1 year just to make sure that my "special men" were at full capacity, the first month we started trying she got pregnant. This last time I went off for 8 mos, we tried for 2 months and with no luck yet, is it due to AAS use, we'll my doctor said that my sperm count was a little lower...I guess I'll give it a couple more months of trying and we will see what happens. On a side note my son is perfectly healthy and happy, mind you he's built like a tank and gets mad at walls when they get in his way....

I can't get my wife pregnant,I have been on and off for 15 years though.
I am going to go off next month, and then go to a fertility doc.

Dude how long you been off, and when you did come off were you doing PCT, as well get your wife to take folic acid it helps....couple of other little pointers, wear loose underwear(boxers and such), don't smoke anything, don't drink much, get your wife to massage your nads everyonce in awhile.....don't know if the last one works...but it sure feels good. Hopefully some of these points will help...good luck man.

I have always taken PCT, when younger it was HCg and clomid.
then sometimes just clomid.
Now I take HCG mid cycle, nolva about 2-3 weeks from quitting, HCG for about 1 month, clomid for 1 month.
I am really working on getting her pregnant!!!!!
She is 3 weeks late, but I am mid-cycle, go figure!!!!
This was the first cycle I did HCG mid-cycle.
I will keep you guys posted. My wife and I are in our mid 30's and it is about time to start a family!

i have not been off for 15 yera, I have been on 15 years on and off.
I usually take 2-3 month off between cycles.
I went as long as 6-8 months.
One time I took clomid @ 50mg a day the whole tie I was off and still nothing.

Still no period~~~
This is the 2nd or 3rd time, so I am not getting excited till I know for sure.
She isvery stressed out right now, and that may be why she is late,
But if everyone could please pray for me to get her pregnant!!!!
I have never asked anyone to do this kind of stuff since I am not a very religious man.

My boys are tiny right now 2 weeks off cycle, but it being the end of my first cycle at 22 y/o and runnin some nolva I dont think/ hope I have anything to worry about??

It will just take some time but you will be fine. You may want to learn about using HCG while on cycle, since Im guessing at 22 kids may one day be in your future.
