OH SHIT! Here I go again!.
My nephew was a Calvin model and one of Herb Ritts' main photo and video models and weighed more than 185 and attracted the ladies constantly. Even when he was penniless.
He also did cover shots for Weider and videos with Madonna and Janet Jackson, and Levi ads in Africa, and background appearances in Arnold movies, among many other stuff you've probably seen at one time or another.
The secret of his success was the fact that he had a good looking body and rarely showed his face in advertising shots.
He got that advice from Herb Ritts himself and was thereby able to appear in numerous national and worldwide ad campaigns without being identified as 'that guy in the Marlboro commercial"
The one ad campaigne that made him too well known was his semi-nude shot for Joop - a men's cologne. Once that ad was made public he was hounded by those Hollywood news bureaus who tried to follow him wherever he went and he didn't like that too very much, so he stayed home and raised his son and became one of the world's greatest dads and good friend to those he knew or recently met who wanted to break into the business he was once a principal player in.
He's presently working on a new and important project that is somewhat confidential until it is released this year, and the ladies still love him even though he's added a few more pounds.
